Investigation of Mechanical Properties of Composite Al6061/Ni-Al2O3 Produced by Stir Casting Process

Composites are widely used material types today, and it is known that matrices additives in composites improve the mechanical properties of material. In this study, Al6061 matrix Ni-Al2O3 reinforced composite was produced by stir casting method effect Ni- Al2O3 mixture reinforcement on hardness tensile investigated. The determination samples obtained after process determined results microhardness analysis test, internal structure examined XRD analysis. According to analysis, Ni phases were formed together with element Al. analyzes showed amount strain changed depending ratio element, highest value occurred sample Al matrix.
